Syros is an island, which belongs to the northern

Capital : The capital and port of Syros is Ermoupoli. This capital
has more the characteristics of a 19th century European city than a
typical Cycladic.
Ano Syros and Anastasi are known as the 2 hills of the island. The
impressive "San Giori" cathedral is located on the hill of Ano
Syros, which offers a magnificent view.
Some beautiful beaches of Syros are: Kini, Galissas, Finikas and
Mega Gialos.
Posidonia, with traditional buildings and Neo-classical villas, is
the most beautiful region of the island.
