Lipsi is an island of the eastern Aegean Sea with
698 residents. Lipsos is the main island from which comes the name
of the group Lipsi, located between Patmos and Leros and just east
of the imaginary straight line that connects to the north
Dodecanese.
This group of small islands, including the islands Aspronisia,
Kalapodia, Franko, Plavi and other small islands with a total area
of 23 square kilometres. The surface of the main island Lipsos is 16
square kilometres. with a rolling coast of 35 kilometers Because the
island is small is easy to go around walking. The island has taxi
service and a bus.
In Lipsos there are some beautiful sandy beaches, such as Kamares,
Tourkomnima and Chochlakoura. In the small natural harbour is the
country with small white houses, taverns, coffee shops and
restaurants and a branch of the National Bank of Greece. Lipsi are
linked with Piraeus with ferry and other islands of the Dodecanese
with hydrofoils.
Lipsi were and continue to be a municipality by the fact that all
projects have been on the island come from donations in foreign
migrants to Australia. The roads , electricity, etc. as well as the
reconstruction of the mainland - a church hostel for clergy and a
zoo have been made from these donations.
THE LAND IS SITUATED ON THE SOUTH EAST OF THE
ISLAND, SUROUNDED WITH BEAUTIFUL COASTLINES AND PANORAMIC VIEWS.EACH
PLOT HAS ITS PRIVATE ROAD FROM THE MAIN ROAD.ELECTRICITY,WATER AND
TELEPHONE MAINS ARE ON THE SITE. THE AREA CONSISTS A TOTAL OF 12,500
